Overview

A multi-tenant SaaS platform that runs a restaurant or café end to end — digital menu, table booking, and accounting — from a single dashboard.

The problem

Small hospitality businesses stitch together five disconnected tools — one for the menu, another for bookings, a spreadsheet for accounting. Data never lines up and owners fly blind.

The approach
  • Designed a multi-tenant core so each venue gets an isolated, secure workspace on shared infrastructure.
  • Split the product into six composable modules (menu, booking, orders, inventory, accounting, staff) that can be adopted independently.
  • Built a role-based permission layer so owners, managers, and staff each see exactly what they need.
  • Shipped a clean React dashboard backed by a Laravel API designed for offline-tolerant venues.
The outcome

Basiq is in active development toward a private beta, replacing four separate tools for its first pilot venues.
