My professional starting point

More than code.
I build with purpose.

I’m Ali Najm, a software engineer and founder from Basra. I started with institutional systems, where every screen connects to a person, a process, and a real decision.

That experience taught me to see the whole picture: understand the work, design the experience, and build the solution. Today I work with founders and businesses, while developing my own products with the same care.

My products

Two products I build from problems I see in everyday work. Both are in development, and the screens come from the products themselves.

Selected work

Websites, apps and systems delivered to companies and institutions. Each project has its own file: the challenge, my role, the result.

Services

Digital work for companies in Iraq and the Gulf: a website, an app or an internal system, each with an example from my work.

Services and how we work together
  1. A website that feels like you.

Company sites, online stores and digital menus, clear and fast on a phone.

    • Designed around your identity
    • Built for phones first
    • Content you can manage
    From my workLivok Coffee
  2. An app people rely on.

An app built around the user's main task: a focused first release that grows with real use.

    • A considered experience
    • iOS and Android from one codebase
    • Data and service integrations
    From my workMasirati
  3. A system that makes work flow.

An internal system that links processes, data and permissions, and gives management a clear view.

    • Workflow analysis
    • Role-based access
    • Dashboards and reports
    From my workWalaa

How I work

From the first question to launch: four stages, each with clear outputs.

  1. UnderstandWhat problem are we solving?

We look at how the work runs and what users need, then agree on priorities and the outcome before choosing technology.

    • Problem definition
    • User needs
    • Project goals
    Lessons from institutional systems
  2. DesignHow does it get simpler?

Requirements become user flows and screens we review together, so we agree on the experience before building.

    • User flows
    • Interface design
    • Early review
    The ICE LAB experience
  3. BuildWhat foundation fits?

Technology chosen for the project, with data, permissions and integrations planned in maintainable code.

    • Data structure
    • Access and integrations
    • A usable release
Isolating client data in one platform
  4. LaunchWhat does handover include?

We test the key flows, prepare handover, documentation and training, and agree on support up front.

    • Testing and handover
    • Docs and training
    • Support and upkeep
From idea to a published app
