Overview

One account gives a merchant who sells on Instagram, WhatsApp and from a shop a store with its own link, orders, cash on delivery and couriers, a counter that keeps selling offline, and one stock for the shop and the store.

01The challenge

Merchants in Iraq take orders from chats, sell at a counter and hand parcels to couriers, then reconcile it all by hand. Stock, cash on delivery and what each courier holds rarely match.

02How it was built

  1. 1Gave every merchant a store on its own link, with their colours, logo, product options and stock per combination.
  2. 2Brought every order into one list, whether from the store, typed in from a chat or taken at a table, priced by the server and tracked through clear states.
  3. 3Built a counter (POS) on the same stock that keeps selling with no internet and syncs when it is back.
  4. 4Isolated each company's data in the database itself with row-level security.

03Project status

Dawzan is in development: the store, orders, couriers, counter, reports and team are built, and market validation with merchants is next. The screens are from a local demo store; names, people and numbers are made up.
